ECA is driven by willing volunteers, who cooperate in the co-creation of earth community initiatives and activities. Members are experts in a range of fields, including ecology, wildlife biology, anthropology, geology, river morphology, wetland science, mitigation, permaculture, restoration, natural medicines and community development to name just a few. ECA celebrates the natural gifts and interests of its people. Hence, our talents, abilities, and interests as a group are quite broad. Generally, ECA's intention is to align natural abilities and desires of individual members to empower community functions.

Volunteers have their own reasons for doing what they do, but each is rewarded by the immeasurable richness of participating in a supportive community with people who appreciate them.
